Shields made the remark during a livestream with content creator Zoe Spencer, who asked what career she would have pursued outside boxing.
“I would be like a Christian adult film star,” the boxer responded.
When Spencer expressed surprise, Shields clarified that she meant appearing in adult films exclusively with her husband.
“You know, on film, but only with your husband,” she said.
The boxing champion also mentioned singing and basketball as alternative careers she would consider if she were not a professional boxer.
“But besides that, I’ll be like a singer. I’ll play basketball,” she added.
